international Bardo Retreat (II part)
2011 June 20-29
guided by Rigdzin Namkha Gyatso Rinpoche
in Trakai, Lithuania

Description:

Bardo Thodol (Bardo Thosgrol Chenmo) - The Liberation Through Hearing During the Intermediate State - was composed by Padmasambhava, written down by his primary student, Yeshe Tsogyal, buried in the Gampo hills in central Tibet and subsequently discovered by a Tibetan terton, Karma Lingpa.
It is the most internationally famous and widespread text of Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

In the first part of the Teachings during the first Bardo retreat in 2010, Namkha Rinpoche gave very detailed explanations of the Bardo of Dying and Bardo of Dharmata as presented in the text of Bardo teachings written by Minling Lochen Dharmashri, which addresses aspects of the Bardo related to the highest teachings of Dzogchen. It is the rarest text on the subject of Bardo to be taught or commented in the West.

Minling Lochen Dharmashri (smin gling lo chen dharma shri 1654 - 1717); one of the great scholars of the Nyingma School and brother of the great terton Terdak Lingpa, founder of Mindrolling Monastery.

Today we are exceptionally fortunate to have this rarest opportunity for the Western audience to hear the next part of this precious Teaching in very detail from Rigdzin Namkha Gyatso Rinpoche, one of the major holders of the Nyingma tradition and lineage of Dudjom Rinpoche.

Teachings will be translated simultaneously into English and Lithuanian. Equipment for translation to French and Spanish will be also availabale.

BE ATTENTIVE THAT THE PARTICIPATION TO THE PRACTICE AND TEACHING SESSION’S PARTICULARLY DURING THE RETREAT REQUIRES A GOOD PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH STATE. THE ORGANIZERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OF CONSEQUENCES THAT COULD ENDURE PARTICIPANTS WHOSE HEALTH WOULD NOT BE ADEQUATE.
